BTCCSquare news:

The USPD protocol, despite undergoing rigorous audits by Nethermind and Resonance, fell victim to a rare Clandestine Proxy In the Middle of Proxy (CPIMP) exploit. The attacker Leveraged advanced techniques to mint unauthorized tokens and drain liquidity undetected.

USPD's team confirmed the breach hours ago, urging users to revoke approvals and avoid trading the token. Notably, the vulnerability stemmed not from smart contract flaws but from an unconventional attack vector that bypassed standard security measures.

This incident highlights the evolving sophistication of DeFi exploits, even in audited protocols. Market participants should remain vigilant as attackers develop novel methods to circumvent traditional safeguards.
